In the first of two videos to come from our field trip this summer, you can learn about our visit to our Kenyan partner, Ol Pejeta Conservancy located in Laikipia County. During this field trip, we investigated the practical and legal aspects of flying drones in Kenya and conducted initial test flights in the conservancy. We brought 7 different drones with us, multi-rotors and fixed wings, and experimented with how to safely conduct drone operations from within a beautiful wildlife conservancy with lions, elephants, and more.
