WildDrone sister-projects are hiring PhD students

WildBotics is Hiring!

WildBotics, an MSCDN project led by Fabio Remondino (FBK) from WildDrone is now hiring 12 PhD students!

The project focuses on the collaborative development of effective and reusable robotics technologies and computer science tools for sampling and monitoring operations supporting nature conservation.

The PhD positions are within the themes:

  • Robotics & Sampling embodiment
  • Conservation Ecology
  • Autonomy, perception & AI

WildBotics aims to achieve technical and scientific breakthroughs in nature conservation while training 12 PhD researchers across European and African partners.

Application is open until 7. January 2026.

Robotic Intercropping is Hiring!

The Robotic Intercropping research project is funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation to co-develop intercropping cash and service crops with robotics.

The project is currently hiring several PhD students and PostDoc. The open positions will be announced on the website as they come in.

Right now, there are open PhD positions within “Precision Actions with Autonomous Robots” and “Digital Twins” at SDU by WildDrone Coordinator Ulrik Pagh Schultz Lundquist who is project partner. Deadline for these positions is December 8.
